This program will provide direct assistance to those facing the challenges of a brain cancer diagnosis, helping to improve their quality of life. It is currently in the development phase. Once operational, the BCFHG Program will provide eligible families assist with:
Covering temporary housing and travel costs for treatment outside the family’s region.
Helping with babysitting or daycare fees during medical treatments or procedures.
Funding therapy services to support recovery and counselling for patients, carers, and family members.
Providing academic support to children impacted by brain cancer in the family.
Assisting with essential costs such as groceries and utility bills to ease financial strain.
