The Brain Cancer Monthly Family Support Group (FSG) Program is an initiative of the Australian Brain Cancer Foundation (ABCF) in collaboration with the Brain Tumour Alliance of Australia (BTAA) aimed at alleviating the emotional, mental and social pressures of brain cancer for patients and their families and carers.
This program will provide direct assistance to those facing the challenges of a brain cancer diagnosis, helping to improve their quality of life. By registering for the program and completing the Patient and Community Feedback Questionnaire, you can help shape the future of this critical initiative.
Session Details:
Location: Griffith Neighbourhood Centre (53 Stuart Street, Griffith, ACT 2603)
Day: Every third Sunday
Time: 1:30 – 3:30pm
Structured and unstructured access to a counsellor, group sessions and peer support
A safe space for children of brain cancer patients or paediatric patients to talk, interact and have fun
Guest speakers, mental health first aid tips and social connectivity
