The Board of Directors and Officers reflects the commitment to collaboration, transparency, and accountability. It establishes clear lines of communication and reporting, allowing for efficient decision-making, information sharing, and coordination of efforts. Our Board members are all well established Canberrans who work diligently to improve the lives of the ACT community.
Our Advisory Board consists of members who are experts in their respective fields and are able to offer proven strategic guidance to the Foundation and also includes individuals who represent major stakeholders in brain cancer research and outcomes, including donors, governance and legal and medical researchers.
Our Fundraising and Events Committee plans, prepares and manages our major events that fund the Foundation throughout the year. The Fundraising Committee is responsible for the coordination of events, promoting new ideas and establishing a presence amenable to soliciting donations.
Our Medical Advisory Board allows the Foundation to gather the foremost and most renowned professionals in the fields of research and clinical practice to give direction to assist in achieving the outcomes of the Foundation by guiding the where and how our donations are best utilised, so that we can make effective impacts on brain cancer and the future.
